Windows for Your Home

home-windows-4
There are a number of rules telling you when you need to replace your windows, but often common sense is your best indicator. If your windows are broken, drafty, leaking, or unable to lock, it’s probably time to look into new home windows. If it’s not so obvious, a good rule of thumb is to look into replacement every 15-20 years.

Recently, many of our Chester County customers have been opting to replace house windows for style rather than necessity. That being said, ugly or clashing windows could also be a great reason to look into replacement.

Home Replacement Windows

You can rely on Milanese Remodeling for new house windows. In addition to carrying respectable brands, our certified installers are also familiar with a wide variety of window styles. Some of our most popular include:

Bay and Bow Windows
Bay and Bow– Bay and bow windows are typically larger, decorative windows. Bay windows feature a fixed window in the center with venting windows on either side. Bow windows are four or more windows joined together in a curve. These can be fixed, venting, or a combination. See the gallery.
Double Hung Window
Double Hung- These are extremely popular home windows. They feature two sash within one frame that can slide up and down. They match most house styles from classic to modern. See examples in the gallery.
Casement Window
Casement– Casement home windows are popular in areas that are difficult to reach, such as above a sink, because they open and close with the crank of a handle. The entire sash opens from top to bottom, offering great ventilation. See the gallery.

See our Replacement Windows Page for a full description of window styles.
